Boo!

No doubt you’re now terrified, but also relieved after realising that we are not a spooky midnight ghost, but instead we are your Hong Kong bible when it comes to beauty and pampering. This Halloween season as you gear up for a night of costumes and fun, take your costume to a whole other level with our favourite makeup deals.

Going as a zombie? Get that correct shade of green and “dead” for when you lumber into the party. Needing to nail that Cruella Deville essence? Don’t go past some long, pointy, red nails. Failed to think of a costume at all? Just get glam makeup and looking stunning!

Time to make like Mel B and get scary this Halloween with BloomMe.

I didn’t plan my costume, eek! What’s some easy Halloween Makeup I can get this year?

Skull and Skeletons

Always a favourite for a mild spook, skull makeup is perfect for taking a simple costume and making it extra scary. If you’re heading to a club with UV lighting, even better! The skull makeup will glow and the darker makeup will vanish in the light, and you’ll look like you’ve just popped up from the depths of hell for a quick drink with your pals.

Zombie

Use the Cranberries as your soundtrack for the night and try to think as much as you can about season 1 of The Walking Dead, because it’s zombie time in Hong Kong. Zombie makeup is useful because it can be applied to any costume. Princess Zombie, nurse zombie, celebrity zombie… the list goes on! For ultimate dead-but-fabulous makeup, grab some contact lenses to give yourself a real makeover.

Animals

“I’m a mouse, duh.” Iconic.

You can never go wrong with an animal themed costume at Halloween, and the coolest way to tie it all together is by getting your makeup did to suit the look. If you’re stumped for a costumer, whack on some leopard-print clothes and get yourself a feline face of makeup. Got some bunny ears left over from Easter? You know the drill.

Comic Book Makeup

So, more of a style than a theme, comic book makeup is taking the world by storm and with the rise of Marvel and DC movies, you can be on trend this year. Stand out from a sea of dark costumes with a pop of colour and a hint of attitude. Comic Book makeup is a winner in our books!
