Is it just us, or has November come around too fast? October arrived, and so did the Halloween frenzy but before we could even say “trick or treat” November seems to have ambushed us. Now November has arrived and the temperature has cooled (finally), we can start the preparations for the holiday season. If you’re like the BloomMe Girls, this means being rushed off your feet with preparations, parties and a whole lot of of walking around TST, Causeway Bay, Central and all the countless malls that fill up Hong Kong. Although the run up to the holidays is exciting, it definitely has a stressful side which is why the BloomMe Girls have been hunting for the best new spas for you to enjoy on the app! Here are our favourite spas from October:
Located on D’Aguilar Street in Central, Sovos Aromatherapy is the perfect spot for a deep healing massage after a hectic day on your feet. Sovos are famous for their prestigious all natural aromatherapy oils and products which you can buy in store or at the Island Shangri- La. Their highly experienced UK therapy staff tailor make your treatment to your own specific needs, making the whole experience personalised for you to get the most out of it.
BloomMe Loves: Authentic Holistic Aromatherapy Massage- $780 for 60 mins
Wing Nail Salon is the hidden gem in Causeway Bay that you’ve been waiting for! With a wide range of nail treatments from glitters, acrylic, and even air brushing, you can always look forward to having beautiful nails every time. The Right Spot is Hong Kong’s newest urban massage spa that doubles as an art gallery on Stanley Street. The dim lighting and dark wood features make you feel both supremely cool, and extremely relaxed. Each massage chair has curtains at either side which you can draw to give yourself extra privacy. The Right Spot has also partnered up with Sohofama and offer snacks at lunch time which you can order to make the most out of your lunch hour! #GotKnots
BloomMe Loves: Foot Massage- $456 for 75 mins
Sky Spa are brand new on the app, but are already proving themselves to be a BloomMe Girl’s favourite. Their homey and no frills spa provides a myriad of massages treatments as well as speciality services such as Shanghai pedicures (dead skin scraping). However, they’re best known for their steaming treatments by using traditional Tibetan steaming barrels to open up pores and detox your skin. If you’re curious and want to know more about steaming, check out our other post “Time To Blow Off Some Steam”. It’s cheap, cheerful and a BloomMe favourite- what’s not to love?
BloomMe Loves: Tibetan Foot Steaming Therapy- $138 for 45 minutes
That’s right, two new locations from Hong Kong’s most famous spa franchise have been added to BloomMe, so now you get the quality service from Sense Of Touch no matter how far out of Central you live. The Cyberport branch is brand new to not only the app, but also in the Hong Kong scene. This spacious brand new spa on the south side encompasses all the classic treatments and services that we’ve come to love from Sense of Touch day spas and have added their own je ne sais quoi.
BloomMe Loves: Refresher Facial-Instant Eye Lift Repair- $790
Of course there are many more amazing new spas to find on the app, and if you ever need a recommendations when deciding what to book we’re more than happy to help (perks of the job). Just email email@example.com and our amazing support team will be full of ideas!
